This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and why we don’t use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We’re an independent directory, not the market itself, so our data practices are simple and transparent.

Data We Collect

We collect the minimum amount of data needed to run this site. Here’s what that looks like:

Server Logs

When you visit any page, our server automatically records:

  • Your IP address (anonymized after 30 days)
  • Your browser’s user-agent string (e.g., “Firefox 120 on Linux”)
  • The page you requested and the time you requested it
  • The referring page, if you clicked a link to get here

These logs help us monitor traffic, detect abuse, and keep the site online. They’re not tied to any personal identity.

User-Submitted Data

If you use our PGP Signature Verifier, we temporarily store the .onion address you paste. This data is only used to check the signature against TorZon Market’s documented PGP key and is discarded immediately after verification.

We don’t store comments, contact forms, or any other user-generated content. If we add those features in the future, we’ll update this policy.

How Long We Keep It

We keep server logs for 30 days. After that, the IP addresses are permanently anonymized (the last octet is zeroed out). This gives us enough time to investigate any abuse or technical issues without holding onto raw data indefinitely.

For the PGP verifier, the .onion address you submit is never written to disk. It’s processed in memory and discarded as soon as the verification completes.

We don’t use cookies for tracking, so there’s no “cookie retention” to worry about. The only cookies we set are session cookies for the PGP verifier, and those expire when you close your browser.

Who We Share It With

We don’t share your data with anyone. No third-party analytics, no advertising networks, no data brokers. The only exception is if we’re legally compelled to disclose information (e.g., a valid court entry), and even then, we’ll fight to minimize what we hand over.

Our hosting provider has access to the server logs, but they’re contractually obligated to keep that data confidential and only use it for infrastructure purposes.

Cookies & Tracking

We don’t use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or any other sneaky tracking tech. The only cookies we set are:

  • Session cookies for the PGP verifier (expires when you close your browser).
  • Functional cookies to remember your theme preference (light/dark mode).

That’s it. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no “we’ll sell your data to the highest bidder” nonsense. We’re not in the business of tracking you.

If you’re accessing this site over Tor, your exit node’s IP address will appear in our logs. That’s unavoidable, but it’s also why we anonymize logs after 30 days.

Your Rights

Under GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to:

  • Access your data

Email us at [email protected] or use our PGP key to request a copy of the data we have about you. We’ll verify your identity before sending anything.

  • Delete your data

If you’ve used the PGP verifier, we can’t retroactively delete the .onion address you submitted (it’s already discarded), but we can remove any other data tied to your IP address from our logs.

  • Opt out of tracking

We don’t track you, so there’s nothing to opt out of. If you’re using Tor Browser with default settings, you’re already as private as it gets.

  • For sensitive requests, you can encrypt your message with our PGP key (available on the Contact Us page).

    Third-Party Content

This site references TorZon Market and other darknet markets for informational purposes. Those names are trademarks of their respective owners. We don’t claim affiliation with any market, and we don’t endorse any illegal activity.

The PGP Signature Verifier uses TorZon Market’s documented PGP key to verify mirrors, but we don’t store or transmit that key to third parties.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Does this site track me?

No. We don’t use tracking cookies, third-party analytics, or advertising pixels. The only data we collect is what’s necessary to keep the site online (server logs) and verify mirrors (temporary .onion addresses).

Can I use this site without JavaScript?

Yes. The core content (mirrors, verification tool, and informational pages) works without JavaScript. Some interactive elements (like the PGP verifier) may require it, but we don’t use JS for tracking.

How do I request my data be deleted?

Email us at [email protected] with your request. Include your IP address (or a range if you’re using Tor) and the approximate date/time of your visit. We’ll remove your data from our logs within 48 hours.

Does this site work with Tor Browser?

Absolutely. We recommend accessing this site over Tor for maximum privacy. Your exit node’s IP address will appear in our logs, but it’s anonymized after 30 days.
